WorkHacker

Be found when the decision gets serious.

A retirement, a business sale or a change in family finances brings questions that a market newsletter cannot answer. We make your firm's specialty and judgment visible through search-led pages, articles and podcasts, with professional review and production managed by one team.

Built around the decision your buyer makes.

Wealth management and financial advisors

Be understood when a household faces retirement, concentrated stock or a business exit. Make specialty, fees and interests clear.

M&A advisors

Earn an owner's trust before a sale becomes a mandate. Explain readiness, confidentiality and the terms behind the price.

Make readiness part of the explanation.

Illustrative advisory planning example, not a client transaction or investment recommendation.

The question

What should an owner prepare before speaking to an M&A advisor? Answer the process question without inventing a valuation or promising a transaction.

The publishing package

A service page clarifies firm fit. A reviewed preparation guide and companion episode explain which records and questions are useful at the first meeting.

The progression

A private consultation establishes whether the situation fits. Reporting separates enquiries, qualified discussions, signed mandates and completed engagements.

Your experts have useful answers. A show can give those answers a consistent home.

We prepare drafts with a named reviewer and approval point, keeping confidential facts private. Monthly review follows measurable relationship progression and consistent revenue definitions. Consideration, mandates and completion remain distinct; content cannot guarantee assets, investment performance or a completed transaction.

Review boundary. Your named professional reviewer approves financial claims, confidentiality, suitability wording and applicable publication obligations. Your firm confirms relationship fit and intake. WorkHacker manages production without providing investment advice, promising returns or certifying regulatory compliance.

A focused business. Or a wider group.

A company program brings search strategy, publishing and maintained systems to one focused business. Wider teams can compare the enterprise program below.

For one growing business

Company program

  • A search plan for your brand, reviewed with you every month
  • Articles, page improvements and, where it fits, a podcast
  • Publishing systems kept running, with a named person on every release
  • A monthly report on what shipped and what changed

Starting at $2,750 / month

Plus a setup fee, set by your scope.

Before we start.

Does this suit M&A advisors as well as wealth firms?

The managed method can support both, but their buyer questions, revenue definitions and progression are different. We scope around your actual advisory service rather than borrowing the economics of a neighboring category.

Can the content communicate our track record?

Only with verified facts, permission and professional approval. We can also explain your process without identifying clients or implying that past work predicts a future outcome.

Who approves the financial content?

Your named professional reviewer. We manage research and drafting, flag claim decisions and wait for approval. The firm's obligations and judgment stay with the firm.

Can an executive publish separately from the firm?

Yes, as a separately scoped personal program. Employer funding does not automatically include company-wide search or content. The approval route must account for the person's role and the firm's obligations.

What should we count as progress?

Suitable enquiries, prepared conversations and qualified relationship progression. Signed mandates and completed engagements are distinct events. Use fees or actual firm revenue where appropriate, not transaction value, assets or premiums as a substitute.
