- Positioning workshop, messaging, an identity direction and starter guidelines.
Make the business
recognizable.
Put your audience, value proposition and point of difference into words your buyers repeat. Our brand strategy services agree the message first in a workshop or a brand sprint, then shape a starter visual identity or a logo system that executes it, with consolidated revision rounds and one named approver on your side.
A messaging workshop
A workshop on your audience and value proposition, and a concise message map.
For owners and teams who must say what they are, whom they serve and why they are different before design or content work starts.

01 / The offer
Start with one agreed message.
Commission a messaging workshop, a brand sprint, a brand kit or a logo system. Each purchase approves one decision and records it in writing; nothing bundles automatically.
- Logo system, palette, type and usage sheet, based on supplied strategy; no naming or research program.
- Initial directions, the chosen direction refined, lockups and export files; trademark search excluded.
- A workshop on your audience and value proposition, and a concise message map.
Strategy first. Identity executes it.
Brand and identity work is led by our design lead, Louie Valkhof. He runs the positioning workshop, drafts the message map and the identity direction with your named approver, and delivers the guidelines and files. Lam and Rob connect the approved brand context to search, writing and production when that work follows.
For how terms, revisions and ownership apply to your purchase, see scope, ownership and billing terms.
Each purchase is scoped with you before work starts. Consolidated revision rounds apply, agency errors are corrected without using a round, and a brand purchase is not automatically credited toward a program's setup fee.
Corporate research programs, naming, brand architecture and trademark clearance are separate scopes.
Applying the identity across channels, print, video and templates is separately scoped work.

02 / Your design lead
The person accountable for this work.
Louie leads brand, identity and website design. He makes the message and the look belong together.
Louie agrees the audience, the message decision and the identity direction with your named approver, and runs the consolidated revision rounds. Lam and Rob connect the approved brand context to search, writing and production when that work follows. Your decision owner approves usable content and identity files.

The approved message map
Buyer response remains unmeasured.

04 / Before you decide
Straight answers.
Should we start with a messaging workshop or a brand sprint?
Choose the workshop when the missing piece is the message itself: who the audience is, the value you offer and a concise message map. Choose the sprint when you also want one identity direction and starter guidelines. The workshop can precede a later sprint; the later purchase builds on the approved decision rather than starting over.
We already have a logo and materials. Can that work continue?
Yes, when you supply the approved strategy and the existing assets. The brand kit builds a logo system, palette, type and usage sheet on supplied strategy. A full re-architecture of corporate research or naming is a separate scope, not an extension of these purchases.
What about naming, research or trademarks?
Naming, corporate research programs and trademark clearance are not part of the workshop, sprint, kit or logo purchases. Say before the work starts if any of those jobs exists, so the scope is agreed separately rather than surfacing mid-project.
How long does a brand sprint take?
The schedule starts once the inputs are complete: your knowledge of buyers, your existing materials and the identity brief. We agree the review, feedback and delivery dates with you before work starts, so both sides know what happens when.
Who should take part in the workshop?
The people who can speak for the decision: your named decision owner, someone close to buyers and any expert you approve. The output is the same either way: a written message map the named approver assents to, then hands to your team.
How do revisions work?
Every purchase includes consolidated revision rounds, agreed in the scope. Agency errors are corrected without using a round, and nothing is approved until your named approver says so. A different audience or proposition after approval is a new brief, scoped as its own decision.
What do we receive, and in which files?
The workshop delivers an approved message map document. The sprint delivers the message map, one identity direction and starter guidelines. The brand kit delivers a logo system, palette, type and usage sheet. The logo purchase delivers initial concepts, the refined direction you choose, lockups and export files. The specific formats are agreed in the scope before work starts.
Who owns the work afterwards?
You do. Paid-for assets and the agreed editable files are yours, as set out in writing. The approved decision record keeps later writing, websites and production consistent with the brand you approved.

Which message must your buyers repeat?
