Effective September 27, 2026
Privacy, in plain language.
This notice explains the information Workhacker receives through this website, why we use it, and how to contact us about it. It replaces the WordPress policy previously published at this same address.
Information you provide
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, company name, and message you submit. We use that information to respond to your inquiry and decide whether Workhacker can help. Contact messages are delivered through Resend to the Workhacker inbox; the website does not maintain a separate contact-message database.
The search self-assessment keeps your answers in your browser. If you ask for your results by email, the website turns your answers into a summary and Resend delivers it once to the address you enter; this does not subscribe you to anything. If you request a priorities review, we receive your name, email address, time zone or city, and any website or preferred times you add, plus your results summary only if you choose to share it. Resend delivers the request to the Workhacker inbox and a confirmation to you. The website does not store your answers.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we verify your consent on this website and send your email address to Resend so it can maintain the subscription and send you one confirmation email. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or by contacting us.
Analytics and local preferences
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. We use those measurements to improve the site. We do not sell personal information or use this site to build advertising profiles.
The site also uses Google Analytics to measure visits and how pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to count returning visits, except for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where it runs without analytics cookies. Advertising features are turned off. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms.
The site stores a theme preference in your browser and a temporary indicator that the homepage introduction has played in the current tab. Those settings control the site experience and are not submitted to Workhacker.
Embedded and linked services
Podcast players and episode audio are provided by Podbean. Loading or using an embedded player may send technical information to Podbean under its own privacy terms. Links to other websites are governed by those websites, not this policy.
The principal service providers used by this website are Vercel, Resend, Google, and Podbean.
Retention and disclosure
We retain inquiry and subscription information only as long as it is useful for the relationship, required for business records, or required by law. Service providers may retain information according to their own policies and our account settings.
We disclose information to the providers needed to operate these functions, when you direct us to do so, or when disclosure is required to protect rights, safety, or comply with law. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices and questions
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or withdraw a newsletter subscription. Legal rights vary by location, and we will respond according to the law that applies.
Email info@workhacker.com with a privacy request. For other questions, use the contact page.
